Award for Training and Higher Education (ATHE) is a globally recognised UK awarding body regulated by ofqual and other international regulators. It was established in 2011. The organization is currently working with 280 recognised centres in over 55 countries. It offers internationally recognised vocational courses from level 3 – level 7 in a wide variety of subjects such as Health and Social Care, Business, Computing, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Administration Management etc.

These programmes are approved as progression pathways for the learners to relevant Bachelor’s and Master’s top-up programmes by 25 UK and international universities.

Understanding the levels of ATHE

The Award for Training and Higher Education provides UK equivalent qualifications through foundation to master’s level. As the qualification is approved by the Ofqual so, the learners can progress to any international university for undergraduate final year or for master’s programme. 

ATHE provides these professional qualifications through level 3 – level 7. So, to help you out here we are giving different levels of this qualification.

Level 3 ( Foundation Diploma)

ATHE level 3 diploma course is equivalent to the international foundation programme. So, now you can get a UK equivalent qualification just after your HSC/A level examination. Besides, level 3 is also equivalent to HSC or A level. So, if you want to pursue a professional qualification after your SSC examination you can take this programme.

Level 4, 5, 6 (UK Bachelor Programme)

Award for Training and Higher Education level 4, 5 and 6 is equivalent to the UK Bachelor programme. Unlike other countries, bachelor programmes in the UK are basically 3 years. So, level 4, 5 and 6 is the UK equivalent first year, second year and final year comparatively. 

Level 7 (UK Master’s Programme)

ATHE level 7 is the UK equivalent master’s programme. If you want to get a professional degree after your graduation this programme will help you a lot.
